Nanocor’s Technical Center is located in Arlington Heights, IL, next to the corporate headquarters. It is staffed with polymer materials scientists, polymer chemists and processing engineers, most with advanced degrees and extensive experience in polymer nanocomposites. At the Technical Center we can create a wide range of Nanomer^® nanoclays, disperse them into polymer systems to form nanocomposites and evaluate their performance. The Technical Center is equipped with state-of-the-art instrumentation, providing capabilities in mineral characterization, polymer nanocomposite formation and processing. When coupled with our customers’ technical input, the timeline from concept to commercialization is compressed and products go to market with a minimum of up-front development investment.
